Walk to Defeat ALS: Saturday was a beautiful day for a walk. It was clear, sunny, and cool. Over 300 (possibly even over 400) walkers joined together to Walk to Defeat ALS at Silver Lake Park in Rochester. With over 50 walkers on the Walking with Ann team we were able to raise over $3,000! Being the first year participating in the walk, our team did a GREAT job! It was such fun visiting with everyone and meeting other families and teams supporting the ALS Association. Huge thanks to all who donated or walked! YOU made the difference! The money raised will help so many families struggling with ALS - through the ALS Association's equipment loan program and research projects. I can hardly wait until next year!
