NEWS Saturday was a beautiful day for a walk. It was clear, sunny, and cool. Over 300 (possibly even over 400) walkers joined together to Walk to Defeat ALS at Silver Lake Park in Rochester. With over 50 walkers on the Walking with Ann team we were able to raise over $3,000! Being the first year participating in the walk, our team did a GREAT job! It was such fun visiting with everyone and meeting other families and teams supporting the ALS Association. Huge thanks to all who donated or walked! YOU made the difference! The money raised will help so many families struggling with ALS - through the ALS Association's equipment loan program and research projects. I can hardly wait until next year! The August 2nd Benefit in Millville provided a fun afternoon and evening for all! Families enjoyed a children's carnival, bake sale, silent auction, live auction, delicious dinner, cash and Wii raffles, door prizes and the sights and sounds of Trouble Shooter! What a great mix of activities provided for all ages! It took involvement from many people to pull together such an elaborate event and we'd like to thank each person for his/her involvement as we could not have done it without your hard work! We especially would like to recognize Kristi Ruen, Anne Lindner, Ginny Siefert, Melinda Otto, Steph Gartner, Jodi VanPelt, Becky Bruinsma, Melanie Hoover, Gloria Magruder, Kristine Kundert, Jessica Vold, Joy Stock, Chris Wadley, Stacey Parkinson and Joleen Emery for their extraordinary effort in making this such a successful fundraiser...thank you! Check out the pictures on the 'Photo Gallery' page and Donor information on the 'Gratitude' page.

About this Website
Ann's ALS diagnosis has given her family and friends, including members of Southern Minnesota Mothers of Multiples, co-workers at Mayo Clinic and many, many others, the desire to walk with Ann and her family on their challenging journey. Ann's Story
"My wonderful husband and I have been blessed with four beautiful children. Erin is our first child (3/18/02), and Elizabeth, Devin, and Joshua (12/30/05), you could say, are our "second" child. ;-) Yes, they are triplets!
While we are fortunate to have happy, healthy children, our family is facing the ultimate challenge.
On December 18th, 2007, I was diagnosed with ALS."
